New Release

I released a new book this week, Twisted Sister. It’s an experiment for me on a couple of fronts.

First, I love reading romance and I love writing romance but I’ve been focusing on mainly writing and marketing my science fiction for the last two years. I sort of let my romance books hum in the background without giving them much love.

I have a romance series called Romancing the Gods. Each book in that series takes a pairing from Greek mythology and re-imagines the characters in a modern setting. It’s a lot of fun to write and I squeeze it in between my other books sort of like a palate cleanser. I’m working on the fourth book in the series now.Read More

New Release

I am slowly collecting the Junkyard Dog novellas into collections of three in between writing a new sci-fi series (the first book in the new series will be published in July). The second collection is now available at a discount to buying each novella separately.

Collection 2 contains Ruby City, Double Cross, and Spider Silk. Descriptions can be found on the Junkyard Dog page here.

A HodgePodge

I have been working on a number of projects lately, not all writing related so I thought I’d share a little here.

Writing is a sedentary and solitary endeavor and it’s easy to become a writing chair potato. Now that winter is finally loosening its grip on my part of the world I am getting outside more. It’s not quite time to dig into the gardening/yard work, but it’s nice enough to take longer walks. So far we are walking our dead-end gravel road and increasing our mileage slowly as we get back into shape. When all the snow is gone we’ll tackle the woods’ trails which are far more challenging.Read More

Mars Base

Just released!

The final installment of the Junkyard Dog novella series is done and out and I couldn’t be happier with the way it all ends.

The day of reckoning has arrived.

Major Margarita King needs answers. Why had her ship been sabotaged? Who wanted her dead and who could she trust for the truth? The only place to find those answers? Mars Base, home of the Red Barons.

Command thought she was dead. A funeral had been held. Someone was going to be mighty surprised when Rita showed up at headquarters.

Mars Base, the final novella in the Junkyard Dog series, ends where Rita’s strange and unexpected journey began–with one big difference. You’ll have to read Mars Base to find out how it all turns out!
