Anything Goes January 30, 2025

I thought I'd share another one of my projects here, a gift I made for a loved one. At the end of my work day, after dinner and dishes have been cleaned up, my husband and I like to watch some tv. We usually pick a series on Acorn or Netflix and binge watch it. (Unless of course, there is a UConn Women's Basketball game on. Those are a can't miss for us. And we watch the game replay a couple nights after, because basketball season is far too short and we love watching the women and how they progress through the season.)

Sometimes I'll watch more tv after hubby leaves to do other things. I'll watch certain cooking shows or older series–shows that don't require my full attention–and while I watch I like to have a project in hand. Most of them I design myself. This particular design I copied from a hooked rug pattern. I just love it. This is wool appliqué with cotton embroidery thread.
