Quote of the Week

July’s quotes are all from a name most people have heard of. Albert Einstein was the most prominent physicist of the twentieth century. his contributions to science dramatically changed how humans interact with our world. He was a deep thinker, engaging his brain cells not only matters of science, but on metaphysics as well.

“A spirit is manifest in the laws of the universe––a spirit vastly superior to that of man, and one in the face of which we with our modest powers must feel humble.”

This spirit is known by many names––as many names as there are religions. I am not a religious person, but I am deeply spiritual. I believe in a superior spirit, whatever name you choose to call it. I am going to stop here because I do not wish to engage in a debate about the veracity of the different religions. I will only say that there is a great deal of comfort to be found in the knowledge that we are in the hands of a power much greater than any man can wield.
