Random Thoughts Thursday

With so much stress and strife in the world today (has it always been this awful?) I find that being out in nature is a surefire way to relieve stress and bring me a sense of peace. Mother Earth is our bedrock, always with us, steady and filled with marvelous wonders, whether that be a volcano spouting molten lava or a butterfly breaking free of its chrysalis and spreading it’s wings.
We only have to slow down and look.
I know I’ve mentioned before that I used to be a wildlife photographer. And while I love all four seasons that we get to experience in the northern part of the United States, fall is definitely the most colorful. The first picture is a shot I took on a quiet country road in mid-October. The second I took in a field. I hope they inspire you to get outside and find something beautiful that appeals to you.
